Frequently asked questions from our customers.

Have a question?

You would be surprised in most cases the amount of hail damage on your vehicle. Sometimes dents aren’t visible to the untrained eye, especially when viewed outdoors in the sunlight. Here at Dent Poppers, a trained, experienced, certified damage appraiser will inspect your vehicle and give you a courtesy estimate. It only takes a few minutes to protect your investment.

No… Insurance companies classify claims in two different categories: (1) collision; and (2) comprehensive. Hail damage is a comprehensive claim it was beyond your control. Hail damage, tornados and floods are situations beyond your control and will not increase your individual vehicle(s) rates. However, your insurance company may increase rates in general for your region in which the catastrophe occurred. It would be a wise choice to repair your vehicle if needed.

Every Insurance company has different time periods for making a claim. Some insurance companies are 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, to 1 year from the time of the catastrophe (Hail Storm). If you have confirmed damage to your vehicle(s) call your insurance company to at least get a claim number. Dent Poppers can and will handle the rest to get your vehicle repaired.

A restriction for “Unrepaired Damage” is in effect on your insurance policy; any future claims could be denied. Do Not Risk It!

Vehicle(s) should be repaired WHEN IT’S BEST FOR YOUR SCHEDULE. At the time of the storm Man Power and resources are readily available. This allows the process to go faster. Waiting too long is also risky due to the “Unrepaired Damage” restriction.

If there is a lien holder on your vehicle(s), your insurance company by law is required to protect their investment with you. Any payment made for vehicle(s) damage will include both your name and the lien holder’s name as owners of the vehicle(s). We recommend you have all checks endorsed by the proper parties. Dent Poppers can assist in expediting the endorsement process for you while your vehicle(s) are being repaired. Again, this is to protect you and the lien holder’s interest by returning the vehicle(s) to its pre -loss condition.

An Insurance claim representative has prepared an estimate for the visible damages to your vehicle(s). If your repair shop discovers additional damage after starting the repairs a claim representative will re inspect your vehicle(s) and determine if additional payment is warranted.
